the lyrics were taken from bits of old poems and lines for songs never recorded, so things feel a bit disjointed. the inspiration for this process came during a storm on an emotional and confusing night. Singing about something straightforward felt like cheating the muse who used rain and wind and lighting and thunder to inspire.
